Description
Pacific Driftwood
Pacific wood is a natural driftwood with a texture and color similar to Malaysian Driftwood, and it's one of the easiest hardscape materials to work with. Its rich, dark tone and characteristic grooves make it ideal for attaching epiphytic aquatic plants like Anubias, Bucephalandra, aquatic ferns, and mosses. Available in a variety of sizes, it's one of our go-to choices for aquascaping—especially in nano tanks.
Compared to other types of driftwood, Pacific Wood has a smoother texture, making it a safer option for delicate-finned fish such as Betta splendens.
As with all aquarium driftwood, it may float if not fully waterlogged before use. However, Pacific Wood is denser than many alternatives, which helps it sink faster—perfect for last-minute aquascaping or for aquarists who just can’t wait.

Recommendation
- Boiling aquarium driftwood will speed up waterlogging and the release of tannins.
- Tannins tint the water but fade with water changes.
- All hardscape sales are final unless you have received the wrong item.
